Slow Down This Summer

A lot of my clients have been feeling more exhausted after a treatment and this has given me pause for thought. I for one am guilty of putting myself under pressure to be more productive and do more in the summer months.
So this is just a gentle reminder to those of you who are feeling a little exhausted or overwhelmed that it is OK to slow down during the summer months. Often with the days being longer and the weather being (occasionally) beautiful, we can feel a certain push and urge to do more, be more energetic be outdoors for longer, go to bed later and say yes to more social events etc until suddenly we feel run down and almost at the stage of burn out. But is it really worth it?
Just because it’s sunny outside at 8pm doesn’t mean you can’t have an early supper, get into your pjs and lie on the sofa. So if you needed a sign or validation to let you rest, this is it. Do what feels right for YOU and your body only. After all, you want to be able to enjoy yourself and be the happiest, healthiest version of yourself.
